More than 20 partners, 2 affiliated entities and 9 subcontractors from 13 European countries are collaborating in the project. More than 9 Ministries of Defence also support the INDY.

The INDY project is coordinated by the Slovenian partner TECES, Green Tech Cluster, with the support of the Slovenian Ministry of Defence (Si MoD), which is also responsible for coordinating and directing the involved representatives of the Ministries of Defence.

The Defence Institute "Professor Tsvetan Lazarov" (BDI) is an internationally recognized scientific organization under direct subordination to the Minister of the Defense of the Republic of Bulgaria that brings together scientific and expert potential to carry out scientific, training and applied research in the interest of the national security and defense and in support of the transformation of the Bulgarian Armed Forces.

The BDI participates with research teams in many national and international projects within the framework of NATO and EU, as well as on bilateral basis and at national level, cooperating with about 100 scientific organizations and business entities.

Role in the INDY project

BDI is the subcontractor of partner INDRA, providing expertise in defence standardisation.
