CAFA Tech is a robotics and technology company based in Estonia. We specialise in developing off-the-grid 24/7 charging and service stations for mobile robots and drones, powering these stations through our proprietary Geothermal Heat to Electric Converter (GHEC) system. Our autonomous and tele-operated mobile Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) is known as the CAFA Worker robot. It is designed for a variety of applications, including logistics, construction, agriculture, and ground maintenance tasks.
The UGV Worker Robot is self-driving, capable of autonomous operation, and can also be remotely controlled. It boasts a maximum payload of 200kg, with a robotic hand that can exert a maximum lifting force of 8kg. We also offer autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for logistics operations capable of carrying a maximum payload of up to 20kg.
ROLE in the INDY project
CAFA leads the Training and Documentation in the INDY project.We develop specialized training programs for stakeholders, focusing on military transfer assessments and bolstering the Critical Components Testing phase.
