Similar to last year, the European Defence Agency (EDA), this time under the auspices of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, is organizing the second “European Defence Innovation Days (EDID)“.
The EDID 2023 will be held as a conference where European experts will present innovative solutions for defence and the opportunities and challenges of integrating the civil and defence sectors.
The two-day event, which will take place in Brussels between 31 May and 1 June 2023, will focus on the challenges and opportunities in connecting technological innovation and capability development in the defence.
Parallel to the conference, an exhibition of various products and projects in which representatives from civilian and defence member states will participate. During the exhibition, the event will feature short professional presentations (Industry Talks) by international experts on innovations and dual-use solutions.
At Brussels Square, within exhibition area number 50, the Slovenian stand will showcase a range of national and international projects under the slogan 'GREENING DEFENCE – fostering green transition by accelerating innovative dual-use solutions.' The display will also feature the INDY project.
