INDY partners will participate and showcase at the upcoming Consultation Forum for Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security sector (CF SEDSS III) event, taking place in Málaga, Spain, from 22nd to 24th November 2023.
Several of the INDY partners will be in attendance. We anticipate over 150 participants. If you are among them, please visit us at the onsite exhibition. The INDY stands will be located adjacent to the Slovenian Energy and Environment Partnership in Defence (SiEnE) stand, as TECES coordinates both the INDY project and the SiEnE partnership.
At this event, we will present the newly designed INDY promotional materials and the first corporate project movie, following their debut at the 5th Energy and Environment CapTech meeting in Maribor in October 2023.
The 6th CF SEDSS III Conference will take place on 22-23 November 2023, followed consecutively by the 2nd CF SEDSS III Energy Technology Solutions (ETS) Conference and an onsite exhibition on 23-24 November 2023. This event will be held in Málaga, Spain, under the auspices of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU) and is hosted by the Ministry of Defence of Spain (ES MoD) and ISDEFE (Engineering Systems for the Defence of Spain).
We will be participating in the initial conference segment and will have a more active role in the exhibition part of the event.
About CF SEDSS
The Consultation Forum for Sustainable energy in the Defence and Security Sector (CF SEDSS) is a European Commission-funded initiative managed by the EDA.
It was established with the primary scope of creating a community to share information, knowledge and best practices for addressing the energy and environmental challenges of the future in the defence sector. Its activities are oriented towards improving energy management, increasing energy efficiency, and building performance, utilising renewable energy sources, and enhancing the resilience of defence-related critical energy infrastructure within the defence sector.
CF SEDSS also addresses crossover topics such as energy management/policy and innovative technologies and identifies co-funding and financial instruments for potential use in defence energy-related projects. The Forum will also support the generation of energy-related project ideas in defence, as well as studies with potential for initiating new collaborative projects among Member States.
Today, the Consultation Forum is the largest European energy-related community in the sphere of defence, with around 150 members from 30 different European countries (all EU Member States, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and NATO), as well as experts from industry, research and technology organisations, and academia.
These are the reasons the CF SEDSS community holds significant importance for the INDY partners. It encompasses all relevant INDY stakeholders and addresses challenges similar to those faced by the INDY project.
Check the CF SEDSS website for more information about the CF SEDSS and the event itself.
